Java Island, Indonesia, September 2022BNPB in Indonesia reported 2 people died after being buried by a landslide that occurred after heavy rain in Sukamaju Village, Cihaurbeuti District, Ciamis Regency, West Java, on 11 September 2022. 28 families/88 people in Sukahurip Village and Sukamaju Village, Cihaurbeuti District were affected, some of which evacuated their homes to stay in a nearby public building. A landslide also occurred in Wanareja District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java, on the same day, displacing some residents.
