  • Tropical Storm ALEX, formed over the southern Gulf of Mexico on 2 June as tropical depression, passed close to western Cuba and made landfall over the south-western coast of Florida on 3-4 June. On 6 June at 6.00 UTC, its centre was about 310 km west-northwest of Bermuda, with maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h.
  • On the forecast track, ALEX is expected to move north-west passing north well off of Bermuda on 6 June in late morning.
  • Heavy rain strong winds and storm surge are forecast over Bermuda where a tropical storm warning is in effect for Bermuda.
