Tonga was shaken near Neiafu, Vava'u, by an earthquake of magnitude 5.6 only 17 minutes ago, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported. The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter near Neiafu, Vava'u, Tonga, late at night on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022, at 10:36 pm local time.
