Italy - Severe weather (ECHO 27 Jan 2023)

Heavy rainfall, strong winds and heavy snowfall have been affecting the Sardinia Island (particularly central and northern provinces) since 25 January, causing floods and rivers overflow that have resulted in casualties and damage.
Media reports, as of 27 January, some roads have been temporarily closed across the Nuoro Province (central Sardinia) due to the heavy snowfall.
Over the next 24 hours, more rainfall is forecast over north-western and southern Sardinia Island.
